Gabriela Saavedra
Gender and Inclusion Leader
Ms. Gabriela Saavedra García holds a law degree and a master’s degree in Victimology from the National Institute of Criminal Sciences (INACIPE). She has completed various specializations in human rights, gender, public service, and education for peace. She has held key leadership positions in both national and international institutions such as USAID, UNDP, the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico (FGR), the Attorney General’s Office of Nuevo León (FGJNL), the Senate of the Republic, the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH), and served as an expert in access to justice and inclusion in the TECLAB Program of the U.S. Department of Labor.
She is recognized for creating and developing service models for victims of crime and gender-based violence, including the Justice Centers for Women model. She is the author of publications on human rights, gender, and victimology; a lecturer and trainer in criminal justice, resilience, and peace; and a designer of specialized academic programs.
